At its most basic level, financiers are keen to lend money. Property has become one of the most solid forms of security.

Having said this, financiers are not naive. They will only lend money where they feel they will get a return on their own investment – in addition they want to work with a profitable developer. They have experienced managers in their property divisions that want a well presented feasibility study of the development they are looking to finance.

An element of our job is to "package" the prospective development in order that it meets the lending criteria of the funder best suited to the property development – and each funder is slightly different. It is therefore important to get it right first time.
