Mezzanine Funding - Top Up
2. TOP-UP – this is where the mezzanine lender looks for a contribution from the developer of between 5% and 10% (currently nearer 10%).
They will generally charge the developer a monthly interest charge based on the outstanding monies owed at month end. Typically between 1.75% and 3% of the outstanding balance at month end.
